Hands on. People first.
Engineer, product builder, author. Based in Colorado Springs.
I like being close to the work.
I’ve spent 14+ years building software and leading engineering teams across healthcare, learning, and developer tools. I currently lead AI platform and enablement in a HIPAA environment, while staying close to architecture, prototypes, debugging, and delivery.
My personal products are where I follow an idea all the way through: the interface, the architecture, the details, and the person trying to use it.

Make the complex usable.
Good engineering should make the next step clearer for the person on the other side of the screen.
Build room for more people.
AbleMakers puts accessible AI practice within reach, one small action at a time.
Stay close. Give people space.
Lead with context, clear boundaries, and enough trust for people to own the work.
Beyond the products
I write about the work, too. Two books on engineering leadership and getting useful work finished with AI.
Have something worth building?
Let’s talk about the product, the team, or the problem.
